If you are looking to get in shape/lose weight Cornelius Yoko is an excellent trainer to assist you with reaching your fitness and weight loss goals. I began training with cornelius after putting on a substantial amount of weight. while I had been an athlete in the past, I had completely strayed from any sort of regular fitness regimen. Upon meeting him i was open and honest about my lofty goal, and very upfront about my determination to do whatever it took to get there. Cornelius possesses a unique combination of drive and compassion. After telling him what "body type" i hoped to achieve, he devised a workout plan to accommodate the fact that i was totally out of shape, but with the mindset of building my endurance every session. After two weeks I was totally hooked. i was lucky enough to see results quickly with his regimen and a healyhy eating plan. he gave me a few tips and resources on the internet to help me devise a winning program for me. I have been working with hime for four months and I am more than halfway to my goal. To say that I am beyond satisfied with the results is an understatement. Cornelius is able to push you further when you think you have nothing left to give, which feels very rewarding once you surprise yourself with your new found strength and see the results on the scale. If you are serious about getting your body back , I highly recommend his services.

  Personal Statement

I met Cornelius at a very difficult time in my life. I'd experienced a personal loss and used food to cope, so I found myself with a 2O pound weight gain. I was ready to heal and wanted to get back in shape.
If you are anything like I was when I started training I was intimidated about going to the gym. However, from our first correspondence Cornelius was warm and inviting. I felt comfortable with him and decided to give it a try...I am so glad I did!
Every week I'm amazed at how strong I've gotten, how much endurance I have and how my body is changing! Every week the workout is different and fun and yes...tough ;) I appreciate the fact that Cornelius has gotten to know me and know what I like and what strategies work for me.
More than just the physical changes I also feel more positive and hopeful about life!

I have been overweight to various degrees my entire life. I'm blessed with a strong frame that builds muscle quickly - but also fat. I'm also a hard worker when exercising, but bore easily and thus quit my routine. With my long-term health in mind, my personal goals when hiring Cornelius were to 1) gain lean muscle, 2) lose fat, and 3) have fun. Having fun is the most important for me - otherwise I stop exercising.
Cornelius has been so helpful.  I respond well to a mix of drill sergeant, humor and encouragement - and ever changing workouts. He shows me new techniques, and if I make a mistake we both laugh about it and then I try it again. He also has great attention to detail, so I learn very quickly. My workouts consist of various cardio routines (boxing, step running, jump rope, jogging, box jumping) with weight lifting, along with various drills to keep me alert. I've left each workout both physically exhausted and mentally recharged - happy that I made this commitment to myself.
I've worked with a few personal trainers over the years and can honestly say that Cornelius is the best for me. My body fat has decreased and muscle has increased, and my self confidence has greatly improved. I also have more energy throughout the day. I've also seen him work with other clients who have different goals and personalities and he's developed great camaraderie with them, too. He is always respectful, has a great sense of humor, and knows his stuff. I definitely recommend Cornelius Yoko.
